JOB DESCRIPTION:

The VP-EMEA Sales is a new position necessitated by Kaleidescape's rate of growth. The VP-EMEA Sales will be the key member of the executive team chartered with initiating and building business operations, defining sales strategy and execution, optimizing the existing sales channels and expanding our presence in untapped sectors of the EMEA market. The successful candidate will be an exceptional sales leader and operational manager - creative and visionary, whose vision is grounded in solid business and finance savvy and validated with analytics. The candidate should share our corporate values, be passionate about creating the ultimate customer experience and committed to building a great company.

The ideal candidate should have a track record of building a scalable field organization and driving revenue growth through indirect channels, identifying new markets, participating in establishing new offices and entities in new geographies. First hand experience managing multinational, multi-cultural organizations and creating the business model and scalable operations and infrastructure functions necessary to support our growing business within EMEA will be important. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to grow and develop his/her team, including future sales managers, and the bench strength to enable growth.

This position will report to the COO and be part of the company's Executive team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The VP-EMEA Sales will lead the entire regional sales function by:

  • Partnering with the executive staff to improve business and sales results.
  • Recruiting and developing sales and operations staff and channels/partners.
  • Developing and implementing sales programs to enhance our sales team's and channel partners' capabilities, interest and success in selling Kaleidescape's products.
  • Partnering with the executive team to develop and implement international expansion.
  • Building the programs, systems and processes to enhance sales force performance and the analytics (budget, pipeline, forecasts, etc.) to support good business decisions.
  • Working effectively with local and corporate staff and technical functions to create solutions and support our channels' perceptions of Kaleidescape as a supportive business partner.
  • Developing a strong network of industry contacts and relationships to leverage.
  • Analyzing business trends to anticipate market developments and proactively make adjustments.
  • Traveling up to 75% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree, advanced degree desirable
  • 5-7 years of successful sales and business management experience required
  • Strong business, relationship and staff management and leadership skills
  • Experience in a relevant business and sales model; working knowledge of the consumer electronics industry desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; business fluency in English and one or more regionally relevant languages required – multi-lingual is highly desirable; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the team-at-large, sales management and key members of the management and HQ support teams.
