Software Engineer - Middleware Applications

JOB DUTIES:

Our Applications Development group is responsible for managing all the media and media information on the system. We also develop and maintain applications to sync music to a PC and Mac, and a web interface to the Kaleidescape system.

We're looking for a software engineer to help ensure our products continue to be the best of the best in home entertainment and media management. You can help evolve our system's middleware infrastructure and feature-set and take our system as a whole to the next level. You could design and implement new functionality between our on-screen display and the Kaleidescape OS, or advance our Windows, Mac and web based products.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should have a related University degree, excellent written and oral communication skills, extensive programming experience, attention to detail, and a strong desire to create high quality software. They should be diligent and methodical with a self-sufficient, common-sense approach to problem solving. Strong C++ (gnu) skills and experience are critical to success.

Experience with some of the following is an asset:

• Multi-threaded application development experience
• Experience with SQL and/or Web development
• Embedded real-time operating systems
